MODERN ART 2008
Modernism proposes new forms of art on the grounds that these are more appropriate to the present. It was, in general, associated with utopian visions of human life and society and a belief in progress. These were often paradoxical, veered away from the traditional concepts and were initially greeted by the public with ridicule. However as the shock wore off, like many various movements settled into history, Modernism continues influencing and inspiring new generations of artists.
Come and experience a moment of 'Modern Art' with us!

Impressionists from Vietnam
Impressionism is an art movement which started in the late 19th century. Impressionist paintings are distinctive of their obvious short, thick brush strokes and bold use of colours to record and evince the moments in time. In impressionist paintings, the essence of the subject are captured; rather than its details. An open composition and emphasis on light in its changing qualities are important elements to an impressionist.
In this exhibition, we'll be showcasing a few of the most prominent impressionists in Vietnam today. Together, we bring to you the beautiful scenery of their motherland.
